Larry E. Yunker II has joined Barkan & Robon, Ltd.   He works primarily in the firm’s civil litigation section while also gaining experience in tax law, corporate law, and real estate law.

Admitted to the Ohio Bar in November, 2008,  Mr. Yunker received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo, College of Law, where he received an honors scholarship.  As a law student, Larry held clerkships with the solicitor for the Village of Whitehouse, Ohio and with the firm of Shindler, Neff, Holmes, Schlageter, and Mohler.  Additionally, Larry served as the Intellectual Property Law Society treasurer and held the positions of budget committee chairman, web master, and treasurer for the Student Bar Association.  His academic achievements include the Dean’s List Award and Highest Ranking Student in Software and Business Method Patents.

Mr. Yunker graduated from the Northern Illinois University in 1993  with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management and an emphasis in information systems.  While an undergraduate, Larry began his first business venture as an independent computer consultant.  Later, he went on to serve as the president for the university’s chapter of the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs.  After graduation, Larry worked in the insurance, banking, and technology industries.  From 1996 until 2005, Larry owned and operated a regional internet solutions providing business and was involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions of internet companies.

Mr. Yunker currently serves as a volunteer firefighter on the Whitehouse Fire Department; participates as adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America, Erie Shores Council, Pack 97; and serves as a charter member and current president of the Anthony Wayne Lion’s Club.

He is a member of the Ohio and Toledo Bar Associations, as well as the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies.
